Theme: The Regenerative Landscape for Higher Education: Reflecting Back, Imagining Forward
Dates:
-
Tuesday, 30 September 2025 | 10:30am – 4:30pm AEST (8:30am - 2:30pm UTC+8/SGT/AWST)
-
Wednesday, 1 October 2025 | 10:30am – 4:30pm AEST (8:30am - 2:30pm UTC+8/SGT/AWST)
This two-day symposium engages with the metaphor of Janus, the Roman god of transitions, to reflect critically on the dual perspectives of higher education: preserving the wisdom of established pedagogical traditions while advancing innovative, generative practices for the future. In the wake of transformative years since COVID-19, the symposium offers a space for rigorous dialogue, scholarly exchange, and collaborative envisioning of the evolving landscape of learning and teaching.
Kaplan proudly convenes this event as a platform for educators and scholars across the ANZ higher education community to contribute to the ongoing development of the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching.
